Summary/Abstract: After professor Gordana Ilić Marković published the city death record of Sava Mrkalj in Vienna, his original, parish death record is published as well in this paper. Continuing with her results, the paper further specifies the facts of Mrkalj’s death and burial: He died on August 24, 1833, from infectious pneumonia, that is, from pneumonia, in the infirmary, the so-called Lazaret, within the Mental Hospital, a part of the General Hospital in Vienna. His corpse was not the subject of an autopsy. He was buried (as far as we can tell) a day or two or three after death, probably in the nearby Cemetery in Währing, Vienna. He most likely had an Orthodox funeral service, that is, Orthodox funeral, and was most likely buried in the Orthodox burial ground of the Cemetery in Währing.
