Summary/Abstract: Trials represent a universal divine law that applies to all human beings and are neither arbitrary nor without purpose. They reflect the wisdom and decree of God manifested throughout the universe, human life, and history, in accordance with human actions. These trials are ongoing, comprehensive, and enduring. They are not necessarily a form of punishment or humiliation, but rather a divine test intended to purify, educate, and empower the human being on earth. Psychological research likewise affirms that enduring hardship can yield unexpected benefits. Many individuals report positive psychological growth following periods of adversity—an experience known in psychology as the "Phoenix Phenomenon." This study seeks to explore the core objectives of human trials by examining selected verses from the Qur’an.
