Summary/Abstract: The presented study estimates the statutory minimum wage (MW) based on enterprise size, measured by the number of employees. The paper proposes models for determining MW on the basis of productivity, purchasing power, average wages (PW), and median wages (MP). A global model, an equilibrium model, and three variants of sectoral models were formulated, and then, using each of them, MW values were estimated based on actual data for the years 2022-2024. The conclusion is that sectoral models should be implemented in Poland, which would strongly and adequately differentiate MW values based on the MP, PW, productivity, and purchasing power, depending on enterprise size. An analysis of the ratio of MW to MP and PW achieved in Poland compared to those in EU countries during the period 2003-2023 showed that Poland ranked among the top EU countries by the end of 2023.
