Summary/Abstract: In the gallery of archpriests who led the destinies of the Orthodox deanery of Turda, the figure of Father Jovian Murășianu has a luminous aura to this day, his prodigious activity leaving deep traces in the history of this ancient Transylvanian city. The article evokes the cultural actions undertaken by Archpriest Jovian Murășianu in the city and region of Turda, during the interwar period.
