Summary/Abstract: The article examines the legal nature of the agreement under Article 107 of the Labour Code, which is entered into between the employer and the election official prior to his/her employment on the basis of an election. The nature of the agreement under Art. 107 of the Labour Code as a labour law contract and the procedure for its conclusion are examined. Proposals are made de lege ferenda to strengthen its role in the formation of the elective labour relationship.
