Audiovisual educational tools for the development of entrepreneurial competences, as well as knowledge of economics, in those with hearing disorders

Summary/Abstract: Shaping entrepreneurial competences, as well as knowledge of economics, of those with hearing impairments is difficult and demanding due to communication barriers and the specific educational needs of this group of students. The main objective of the article is to empirically verify the effectiveness of audiovisual teaching tools developed within the "Innovative educational tools" project as an instrument for shaping such competences and developing such knowledge, along with an assessment of their didactic usefulness and user acceptance. The main hypothesis assumes that the use of audiovisual teaching tools co-created by the deaf during lessons promotes this, and to see if they strengthen engagement and positive perception of the teaching process. The research confirmed that the prepared visual materials are a valuable tool. Their effective use, however, requires a flexible and individual approach, adapted to the needs and capabilities of individual deaf people.
