Summary/Abstract: Artificial intelligence is being applied across all areas of life, including the creative domain, and holds significant potential. From the perspective of the broader public interest, such potential should not be hindered, as its further development may yield possibilities that were until recently beyond imagination. However, continued advancement must not occur to the detriment of authors as individuals, nor of the creative industry as a whole. The hypothesis that the existing legal framework is insufficient to adequately address this issuehas, regrettably, been confirmed through scientific analysis. It is concluded that the relationship between artificial intelligence and copyright law gives rise to two principal issues: the copyright protection of AI-generated works and the training of AI models on protected content. Both aspects necessitate urgent legal intervention, primarily to ensure legal certainty.
