Pluriversity as a pedagogical alternative on the example of the educational movement of the indigenous people of the Andean part of Cauca region in Colombia

Summary/Abstract: The paper reveals how Misak Universidad and the Universidad Autónoma Indígena Intercultural in the Cauca region of Colombia embody the concept of pluriversity and assiociated with it emancipatory, critical, popular and indigenious pedagogies. To reveal this issue, an interpretive paradigm was employed—literature analysis combined with analysis of narrative interviews. The results of the research point to a topics previously unaddressed in Polish scholarly literature. Artykuł ukazuje, w jaki sposób Misak Universidad i Universidad Autónoma Indígena Intercultural w regionie Cauca w Kolumbii ucieleśniają koncepcję pluriwersytetu i związane z nią emancypacyjne, krytyczne, popularne i rdzenne pedagogiki. Aby odsłonić ten problem, zastosowano paradygmat interpretacyjny – analizę literatury połączoną z analizą wywiadów narracyjnych. Wyniki badań dotyczą kwestii dotychczas niepodejmowanych w polskiej literaturze naukowej.
