Summary/Abstract: The work under discussion has the merit of addressing a subject which, although it might be considered of limited interest to the “majority” (being perceived as “someone else’s battle”), is nonetheless capable of generating serious disruptions for our (perpetually) fragile democracy. Although the authors present it as a simple “study,” in reality it is more than that, as it does not merely offer a quick treatment of a specific issue concerning the parliamentary representation of national minorities. Instead, it provides a complex analysis covering historical background, normative developments, case law, institutional practices, statistics, and more.
