Summary/Abstract: Women’s entrepreneurship represents a critical driver of economic diversification and sustainable development, particularly as the globalshift toward a green economy opens new pathways for inclusive and resilientgrowth. This paper explores how national and EU policies support women’sentrepreneurship within the green economy with the aim of identifying gen-der-sensitive strategies and assessing their effectiveness. The analysis focus-es on gender inclusion, sustainability, access to finance and training. Giventhe strong interconnection between the green economy and sustainable devel-opment, the study draws on relevant strategic frameworks, including the EUGender Equality Strategy 2020–2025, the European Green Deal, the Women’sEntrepreneurship Platform (WEgate), the Green Agenda for the Western Bal-kans, and the Sustainable Development Strategy for Southeast Europe (SEE2030). The findings indicate that existing policies require further refinement tomore adequately incorporate gender-responsive support mechanisms withingreen entrepreneurship. Governments should invest in targeted programs, im-prove access to finance, and enhance institutional cooperation for gender-in-clusive green growth
