Summary/Abstract: The aim of this work is to analyze and evaluate the media reception of Eisenberg's work and the significance of this production in promoting Poland, Lublin, and the Lublin region. The author also presents his own reflections on the message and artistic form of True Pain, as well as its educational value. The film was widely commented in Polish and foreign media (press, radio, television, and online portals), particularly in 2024 and early 2025. Media statements, mainly on online forums, confirm the need to appeal to local patriotism and cultivate historical memory, for example, through educational activities. At the same time, efforts to overcome ethnic prejudices are crucial. This is evidenced by the many news items and journalistic opinions. Eisenberg's film could play a significant role in promoting Poland, especially Lublin and the Lublin region. It offers the potential to increase tourist interest in the country, city, and region, including films and publications about them.
