Summary/Abstract: The present study is both scientific and practical in nature. The aim was to analyse the results of the research conducted together with students from Sofia University and National Sports Academy in the Safe Zone in the Registration and Reception Centre (RRC) Sofia – Ovcha Kupel. The paper is divided into two parts. In the first part, the activities implemented at the academy are traced. The second part is devoted to the analysis of good practices, and the outlining of principles that could be useful in the future formation of educational strategies and programs, policies for isolated and marginalized communities or institutional solutions.
