Conditions for acquiring land necessary for the implementation of public road projects

Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the key conditions for acquiring land to implement investments in public roads as projects of public interest. In this context, in light of the applicable legal regulations, the analysis covered the methods for acquiring land for roads, the principles for determining compensation for this purpose, and the valuation methodology used as the basis for determining the amount of compensation. Attention was also drawn to the so-called Special Road Act, considering, among other things, the purpose of its enactment and the main difficulties in its implementation.
