Summary/Abstract: Based on Romanian statistics and on Austrian and Romanian newspapers, this article attempts an overview of Jewish economic life in interwar Bukovina, when the province was part of Greater Romania. It shows how Jewish professional activity in Bukovina mainly centered on the secondary and tertiary sectors, names famous Jewish businesses, and shows how the economic structure of Bukovina was used as an argument by antisemitic Romanian politicians.
