The Commercial Real Estate Market in the City of Varna

Summary/Abstract: The article examines the state of the commercial property market in the city of Varna, the level of its stability and sustainability. It tracks how commercial property prices have changed in the years since the COVID-19 pandemic, which has severely affected the real estate market. The article examines the changes in the demand for these properties, given the wave of closures of commercial properties, the delay and halt of investment intentions, as well as the orientation of a large part of traders towards online trading. The study provides an overview of the economic situation in the city of Varna with indicators showing the conditions for the development of the commercial property market. The aim of the article is to track the change in the supply prices of commercial properties and the levels of rental prices in the city of Varna in the period 2021-2025 and their impact on investment intentions towards commercial spaces.
