Summary/Abstract: This study presents a comparative analysis of student admission, enrollment, graduation, and dropout processes in the programs “Security and Defence” and “Cybersecurity” for the academic years 2023, 2024, and 2025. The objective of the research is to identify key trends in student cohort dynamics and to assess the effectiveness of the educational process through quantitative indicators of academic performance and retention. The methodological approach is based on descriptive statistical analysis of official data from admission campaigns and state graduation examinations, combined with a comparative interpretation of key indicators, including the proportion of enrolled students relative to admitted candidates, graduation rates, and dropout levels. The findings reveal differing levels of stability and academic efficiency between the two programs. While the “Security and Defence” program demonstrates fluctuations in performance indicators and a relatively higher proportion of unsuccessful results in certain examination sessions, the “Cybersecurity” program shows a higher concentration of positive outcomes and a stronger graduation rate, albeit with a smaller student cohort. The analysis highlights the need for systematic monitoring of academic performance, optimization of curricula, and the implementation of early identification mechanisms for at-risk students. The conclusions have practical implications for improving admission and retention policies, as well as for enhancing the overall quality of education in the fields of national security and cybersecurity.
