Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study was to identify the opinions and attitudes of Generation Z representatives toward the use of artificial intelligence-based solutions, including their level of familiarity with these solutions, their understanding of associated risks, as well as the emotions and behaviors accompanying their use. A qualitative research approach was adopted, employing focus group interviews (FGIs), which enabled an in-depth exploration of young consumers' experiences. The participants were secondary school pupils and university students from various countries, purposefully selected, and the interviews were conducted according to a thematic guide, which allowed for the capture of both individual perspectives and the dynamics of group discussion. The findings indicate widespread, albeit varying in intensity, use of artificial intelligence across the domains of entertainment, shopping, everyday organization, and education. Respondents perceive AI as a practical tool that enhances convenience, saves time, and supports creativity. At the same time, they demonstrate awareness of key risks, particularly those related to privacy and data security, the lack of transparency in algorithmic decision-making, susceptibility to misinformation and bias, the risk of excessive dependence on technology, as well as the potential negative impact on the labor market. The attitudes and opinions of Generation Z participants in the study are ambivalent in nature: enthusiasm and pragmatism coexist with caution and a need for content verification.
