Summary/Abstract: Marginal groups should be understood as groups of people, which, according to one or more characteristics, seem to have a negative connotation. Marginal people and marginal groups are attested in the oldest written documents of mankind and always appear at the center of strong social, political and moral contradictions until today, having a clear reference to a very particular urban anthropological universe. It is important to note that most of the discriminatory characteristics of marginal social groups are seen as social traits, although some features are having a strictly forensic psychiatric nature.
