Graphical method for solving linear optimization problems with financial applications

Summary/Abstract: The present paper considers the graphical method as a tool for solving linear optimization problems. The application of the method has advantages from a pedagogical point of view giving a clear visual idea of the optimal solution essence of the corresponding problem. It helps in comprehending and correctly interpreting the obtained results. An example of the graphical method application is considered in solving a linear optimization problem with a financial nature. A special attention is paid to the difference between the classical linear optimization and the integer one.
