Summary/Abstract: Observing the internet and the digital environment we can state that it manages to stimulate some specific behaviors and habits that, in a natural way, they were not found with such frequency in human direct interactions. Such an attitude is the lack of shyness, boldness or audacity. Adopting this kind of attitude can lead to disorder, misunderstandings, conflicts, offenses, harassment, bullying and so on. All these consequences show us that boldness morally distorts the human person, it impoverishes the relationship between people, it destroys communication, it makes respect disappear and so on. Most likely, this behavior is generated by the illusory limitless freedom that the internet provides us, under the disguise of anonymity, and it is clearly present on online social networks, discussion vlogs and other websites. Of course, the negative effects of audacity out of control from online environment can be observed even in face-to-face communication, from real life, because the user will have the tendency to apply the same pattern in his offline life. Starting from this background, I think it is important to identify some ethical limits, in terms of how we properly use this space, but also some possible solutions, that are based on the principles of Christian morality.
