Summary/Abstract: Sculpture as a place, parcours, participation, contemporary sculpture – its interference with the field of architecture and with Land-Art open the investigate of a phenomenon that emerged relatively recently in the horizon of the visual arts, namely the overlap of the three fields of creation and the relativization of the boundaries between them. Solving this theme, however, requires researching the fundamentals of the three areas. In order to have a complete perspective on the osmosis that can be discovered at the borders of the three fields, we followed the sculpturearchitecture ratio and the sculpture-Land-Art ratio. The problem that Sculpture as a place will raise in its historical becoming is based on the research of sculptors and architects from of the 20th century. An important “link age” will have been and continues to be, the sculpture symposium, the nature and symbolism of the stone itself and the ludic-revealing character of creation.
