Summary/Abstract: Russia's aggression on Ukraine caused the reaction of the European Union in the form of, among others, imposing economic sanctions on individuals and entities supporting the Russian regime. Poland is among those EU Member States that have introduced an additional national sanctions system regulated by the Act on special provisions in the field of counteracting supporting aggression against Ukraine and serving to protect national security. Therein, in addition to sanctions that are a mirror image of the EU system, the Polish legislator decided to introduce complementary measures - 'interim compulsory administration' and 'administration to take over ownership'. These solutions are extremely rare in practice, and interfere so deeply with the market that they should constitute a subject of scientific research in the field of public economic law. This paper focuses on one of the abovementioned instruments of interventionism - interim compulsory administration.
