Summary/Abstract: This study brings up to date the biography and activity of Stan from Rășinari, one of the most important icon painters from 18th century Transylvania. The main contribution is Stan's integration into the phenomenon of transfer of the Ukrainian Baroque and Russian new style into the art of the Transylvanian provincial workshops. The research was carried out within the ERC Horizon 2020 Ricontrans project and represents the Romanian version of the study published in the Festschrift offered to Acad. Ivanka Gergova, Sofia, 2025.
