Summary/Abstract: For contemporary man, the approach to suffering in the New Testament sense is the viable solution to the major spiritual crisis in which he finds himself. The Christian acceptance of suffering is the beginning of spiritual healing, of reconciliation with God, with one's fellow human beings and with oneself.
