Summary/Abstract: In this work, the author tried to shed light on the most significant reasons for the absolute nullity of contracts in international public law, with the aim of putting special emphasis on the norms of ius cogens. The authos used contemporary literature in combination with classical literature of international public law, all with the aim of confirming the continuity of the doctrine regarding the absolute nullity of contracts in international public law.
