Summary/Abstract: The article presents the main international standards aimed at protecting the sexual integrity of minors and juveniles, as well as the obligation of states to prevent, investigate and punish all forms of sexual violence against children. Key international documents are analyzed, including the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse (Lanzarote Convention), and Directive 2011/93/EU on combating the sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children and child pornography.
