Summary/Abstract: In the summer of 2024, a participatory heritage research project was initiated, grounded in sustained dialogue between a community of Roma youth from Tomor and lecturers and students affiliated with the Department of Atelier, Faculty of Humanities, Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE). A key milestone of the project was reached in the spring of 2025, when the outcomes of the participatory research process were presented within the framework of a semester-closing workshop. During this event, participants from Tomor and ELTE students engaged in joint reflection on the identified patterns of local cultural heritage and collective memory. The day concluded in late May with a collaborative culture jam at the Józsefváros Museum, where songs were performed that had emerged through spontaneous collective singing practices developed over the course of the research encounters.
