Summary/Abstract: The article analyses the interpretation of Thomas Aquinas’s theory of truth as set out in the comparative epistemology of Thomas Patrick Kasulis, a Lithuanian-born American philosopher. In examining this interpretation, the study pursues two objectives. Firstly, it clarifies and assesses the distinctive features of Kasulis‘s reconstruction of the fundamental assumptions underlying Aquinas‘s theory of truth. Secondly, it aims to determine how Kasulis situates Aquinas‘s theory of truth within a broad intercultural epistemological context. The article argues that these investigations require a distinction to be made between an early and a later period in Kasulis’s thought.
