Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to examine and clarify the distinction between the reality of sin and neurotic guilt from both pedagogical and psychological perspectives, while also addressing the educational significance of moral aspects in the process of human development. The discussion engages with contemporary psychological paradigms, which frequently reduce guilt to a purely emotional phenomenon and overlook its moral and spiritual dimensions. The analysis suggests the necessity of integrating psychological and religious perspectives in understanding the human condition and in fostering children’s growth toward responsibility, empathy, and critical self-reflection.
