Summary/Abstract: Effective communication, constructive conflict resolution, and the regulation of emotions represent foundational competencies in early childhood education. The present paper examines the interrelationship between these dimensions within early educational settings, emphasising their role in fostering socio-emotional development and positive learning environments. Drawing on contemporary theoretical frameworks and empirical findings, the study analyses how educators’ communicative practices influence children’s emotional regulation, peer interactions, and behavioural outcomes. Particular attention is given to the ways in which conflict situations can serve as opportunities for social learning when managed through reflective and supportive strategies. Furthermore, the paper explores the impact of teachers’ emotional competence on classroom climate and on the development of children’s self-regulation skills. The findings highlight the necessity of integrating structured emotional education and communication training into early childhood curricula and teacher preparation programmes. Strengthening these competencies contributes to the promotion of inclusive, resilient, and collaborative educational contexts.
