Summary/Abstract: This paper examines the private collection of the writer Ajša Zahirović, which has recently been archived at Gazi Husrev Beg’s Library in Sarajevo. In addition to an overview of her literary oeuvre, the paper offers a selective bibliography of her published writings. The aim of this study is to underscore the significance of private collections for the preservation and exploration of the cultural and literary history of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and to highlight the role of special libraries in the systematic acquisition, processing, and accessibility of materials. Particular emphasis is placed on the distinctive features of Zahirović’s collection—books with dedications, marginalia, and rare titles—that testify to the intellectual interests and literary connections of the author, whose poems have been translated into numerous world languages.
