Summary/Abstract: The “Nicolae Iorga” Institute of History organized on 6 March 2025 a round‑table discussion on the theme “6 March 1945. Eighty Years Since the Imposition of the Petru Groza Government,” during which participants reflected on the moment when the first communist cabinet was installed. The first section, dedicated to external and internal perspectives on the political change of March 1945, was opened by researcher Simion Gheorghiu. In his presentation, he analyzed the way in which the installation of the Petru Groza government was reflected in Soviet documents and in post‑1991 Russian historiography. His contribution sought to correlate archival sources from Moscow collections with Soviet memoir literature and with documentary volumes published after the dissolution of the USSR, highlighting the interpretive shifts that have occurred within the Russian academic sphere.
