ONCE AGAIN ON THE BANKRUPTCY OF LIBERAL DEMOCRACY

Summary/Abstract: The study analyzes some significant problems concerning the bankruptcy of liberal democracy. Important reasons that led to this bankruptcy are highlighted. Some major contradictions and discrepancies between the liberal-democratic mythology and the real processes and effects in social and historical life are analyzed. Special attention and analysis are given to the role and significance of the media and new technologies, which have conditioned a peculiar public discreditation and historical collapse of liberal democracy as a vision, institutionality, and personnel potential.
