Summary/Abstract: The study focuses on relationships between tourism policy and sustainable tourism development in rural areas. Tourists’ decision making process is discussed in a context of tourist destination’s image and its influence on purchase of the given product. Uncertainty in tourism is shown in few aspects: political, economic, decisional and in a context of sustainability.
