Summary/Abstract: Sorin Titel is an important Romanian prose writer, about whom little is written today. Sorin Titel's prose is distinguished by its epic demands, acute observation, lyricism, sensitivity, and use of experimentation and refined epic techniques, rendered in the manner of neorealist cinema and the new French novel. Sorin Titel's novels are notable for their narrative approach, which is open to innovation and experimentation. An important theme is that of travel. Travel means wandering in an unknown world, alienation and guilt, in a diverse writing style that combines parody, ironic playfulness, humor, but also the seriousness of the search for essences.
