Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the paper is to delimit some of the aspects in the aesthetics of living characteristic to the texts of Kundera, Cioran and Gombrowitz. The author tries to provide an explanation to the concepts: mother tongue and second language, seeking in this way to clarify the freedoms and the constraints of literature.
