Summary/Abstract: The globalisation and integration of new member states to the European Union have created a social environment where various different cultural groups live together and where the self-affirmation of individuals is endangered by the varieties of pressures to which individuals are subjected. In those multicultural environments, children are the most affected by various pressures of the environment, because their personality is not yet formed and the continuous pressure can cause irreparable damage. Therefore we can observe a major percentage of young delinquents belonging to minorities comparing to those of majority, and certain ethnic minorities have a greater number of children and youth with conduct disorders.
