Summary/Abstract: The interdisciplinary lesson „Inspired by Levski – A Guide Through Time“ addresses the formation of national identity and civic consciousness among 7th grade students through an integrative pedagogical approach. By combining history, geography, arts, information technologies, and civic education, the lesson situates Vasil Levski’s role within his historical, social, and cultural con-text. Methodologically, it relies on the use of primary sources, interactive map-ping (ArcGIS), digital storytelling, role-play, and creative production, thereby fostering historical empathy, critical analysis, and value-based reflection. The approach is grounded in the European framework of key competences for lifelong learning, promoting digital literacy, cultural awareness, collaborative skills, and critical thinking. Results indicate that such practices enhance moti-vation, ensure deeper knowledge retention, and strengthen civic responsibility. The study concludes that interdisciplinary lessons of this type represent a sus-tainable and effective model for innovation in humanities and civic education, bridging historical heritage with contemporary societal challenges.
