Summary/Abstract: An important researcher and historian of the Romanian Orthodox Church from the Banat and Arad areas, Fr. Pavel Vesa (1955- 2013) left to posterity 21 books and more than 100 studies and articles. In the present research, we will try to show which were his main contributions in the field of ecclesiastic history and how he managed to reconstruct, based on the Archives and the documents found there, images and facts of institutions like the Romanian Orthodox Diocese of Arad, bishops like Gherasim Raț, or priests like Nicolae Horga Popovici, Ștefan Lupșa, Ilarion Felea, or Gheorghe Ciuhandu. At the same time, books edited together with historians like Nicolae Bocșan, Ioan-Vasile Leb, Gabriel-Viorel Gârdan, and others will also be taken into account.
