Summary/Abstract: Demographic forecasts point to an increasing ageing of the population. In response to the needs of senior citizens, cities are developing senior citizen policies, which, in order not to remain merely in the realm of guidelines, need implementation support. The aim of the research was to indicate the possibilities of improving the implementation of senior citizens' policies in regard to community gardens, by integrating them into land policy of the city. Using the example of Warsaw, the spatial requirements of the city's senior citizens' policy and the principles of leasing land were examined. Research was carried out on planning and real estate law supporting senior citizen policy regarding home community gardens. Following the contemporary integrated approach to urban policy implementation, an innovative connection of two urban policies was proposed.
