Summary/Abstract: It is impossible to understand any other purpose of creating man in the image of God, with the potentiality of becoming like him, than to find in him a partner in a relationship. Of course, this intention could not be realized if there were not a reciprocity of desire, of freedom, but also of the preservation of the identity of the human being. It follows, as far as the human being is concerned, that the process of establishing this relationship will not cause any ontological damage. Its dichotomous wholeness could not be prejudiced by the one who built it and who made all things „very good” (Gen. 1:31). However, the final becoming to which man is called is not strictly limited to reaching the limits of what is human, but presupposes even going beyond them, which does not mean a dissolution of the human being, but, on the contrary, his fulfillment. Human nature naturally tends towards the supernatural. The solution for their fulfillment is the uncreated energy of God, to which man can make himself a receptacle.
