Summary/Abstract: Love of neighbour is an essential condition for our closeness to God. We can only benefit from God’s love to the extent that we show love to those around us, as our Savior teaches us. This teaching we find deepened, developed and lived by the Holy Three Hierarchs, and it was left to us as a legacy in their writings. Saints Basil the Great, Gregory the Theologian and John Chrysostom sought to serve God, respecting exactly the teaching of the Lord Jesus Christ, that is, they preached the word of the Gospel with time and without time, not only by sermon or homily, but above all by deed, their word springs from their deed. In the present study we will try to analyze the way in which the Holy Three Hierarchs argued the importance of loving those who are in suffering due to bodily weakness, or suffering caused by poverty, but above all they sought to ease the situation of those who were living in slavery, having considered that in their time slavery had not yet been abolished. In order for the picture of life in Christ to be complete, we will try to highlight from the works of the Holy Three Hierarchs the importance of peace with ourselves, with what is around us, and with God, and for this peace to have good roots it must spring from the heart of the family and if necessary, the family may give birth to future priests worthy of serving their neighbour and God.
