Summary/Abstract: The incarnation of the Son of God makes it possible to raise man from the state of corruption in which he was because of the sin of disobedience. Man was created to integrate into Divine Love and with him the entire creation. With the fall of man the universe no longer achieved its original purpose. The human being is the bridge between the reason of creation and the Creator, the man rising through the spiritual life in order to achieve the knowledge of God and the insinuation of the divine being with the help of the liturgical life, thus reaching the height of divinity, even more of union with God and finally perfecting the entire universe. In order to fully restore man’s communion with God, it was necessary for a Divine Personae to descend to man, in a real way. This could only be accomplished by the Son, who would come to unite with human nature by the Incarnation. In Him, both the Divine and the human Nature can truly coexist and through His work man’s communion with God can be fully restored, even to perfect unity. God created man and the universe through Word, therefore after man’s fall into the coiTuption of sin, it is still the Word that restores man to grace and He does this by descending towards him and uniting with him by taking from his being.
