Summary/Abstract: Space, unlike time, has often been neglected in liturgical studies. Of course, there are numerous presentations on the importance of the place of worship and the impact that theology has on the architectural organization of the church. However, the broader question of spatiality has rarely been addressed. There is only one way along which the theological depths of the problem are revealed: that of the Incarnation. Through His Incarnation, the Savior gives epistemological and eternal valences to space and the body. Although modern triadological approaches have somewhat overshadowed the centrality of this way, it is a path which is necessary for anyone who wishes to discover truth and life (cf. John 14:6). There is only one way, but there are many different ways of wandering if you do not have the right guide. For this reason, we have turned to the writings of St. Gregory of Nyssa, one of the Fathers who used Scripture to answer the philosophers as well.
