Political compromise. Value or sign of weakness?

Summary/Abstract: In times of tension and conflicts in the world of politics, especially between the main state organs, it seems desirable to discuss the issue of compromise and its importance in the creation of political and social reality. Although politics is associated mainly with the struggle for power, in pluralistic society of opposing views and postulates it is the role of those who hold power to seek the most effective solutions, solutions which reconcile even very distant interests of elements of the political scene. It is necessary to make concessions, form coalitions and agreements. The ability to work out compromises becomes the essence of contemporary politics and one of elementary democratic standards.
