Summary/Abstract: The hospitality industry plays a pivotal role in advancing sustainability and social responsibility. As one of the world’s largest and most influential industries, it has both the opportunity and obligation to address pressing global challenges such as climate change, resource depletion, and social equity. By adopting innovative practices, the hospitality sector can significantly contribute to reducing its environmental footprint while fostering positive societal impacts.Bulgaria, with its rich cultural heritage and diverse natural landscapes, offers a unique context for exploring sustainable solutions in hospitality. From the pristine Black Sea coast to the picturesque Balkan mountains, the country’s tourism industry depends heavily on its environmental assets. At the same time, Bulgaria's traditions, local craftsmanship, and community-focused values present a fertile ground for socially responsible innovations. However, balancing the pressures of modernization, economic growth, and ecological preservation is a delicate challenge that demands creative and forward-thinking solutions.Sustainable innovations are not only crucial to addressing global environmental concerns but are also instrumental in tackling Bulgaria's local challenges. These include preserving biodiversity, supporting rural communities, and promoting sustainable tourism practices that respect both nature and culture. This paper explores how the Bulgarian hospitality industry can integrate sustainable innovations to meet environmental and social challenges, fostering a model of growth that is responsible, inclusive, and future-focused.
