Summary/Abstract: This paper is the first in a short series of articles dedicated to a specific category of small finds from the Acropolis Centre-South Sector in Histria (Romania), namely the weights. The discussion concerns in this case a metal discoid coin weight with the value of two nomismata, found in the last habitation level of the insula excavated by the team from the University of Bucharest (Romania). The item can be dated, based both on analogies and find context, to the 6th century – the beginning of the 7th century AD.
