THE APPRENTICE AND THE HEATER - DEMONOLOGICAL PREDICTION

Summary/Abstract: The Apprentice and the heater is a political drama that shows life in Serbia during the nineties of the 20th century. It is the period of the breakup of Yugoslavia and wars which were fought between various paramilitary units and national armies of the former Yugoslav republics. Serbia was under external political pressure, while its internal problems and conflicts gradually grew and led the country towards general destruction. Aleksandar Popović paints (describes) the struggle for power in Serbia, which is led, metaphorically speaking, by the devil and his аssociates, gathered "from thread and rope", that is to say, people without scruples, morals, honor and dignity.
