Summary/Abstract: Book Review: Румяна Златанова. Книги на пророците Осия, Софония, Агей, Захария, Малахия в старобългарски превод [Диалог и духовност, т. IХ]. София: ТЕМТО, 2022, 391 с. Rumyana Zlatanova’s monograph is the first comprehensive and systematic study of the Church Slavonic (Old Bulgarian) translation of the Books of the Minor Prophets Hosea, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi, preserved in three textual versions: one in the Prophetologium (incomplete), а second in the Croatian Glagolitic breviaries (complete version without a commentary), and а third in Cyrillic manuscripts (complete version with a commentary). Based on textological and linguistic analysis in comparison with the Greek originals, the author proposes a reconstruction of the original Church Slavonic (Old Bulgarian) translation of these Old Testament books.
