The study of linguistic mechanisms for revealing the reliability of information in media is important given the fact that people today have access to a them amount of information. The reader’s ability to differentiate false from reliable news gives them the power to manage their own life, to judge what they can and cannot trust. Taking into account that language offers mechanisms – lexical, grammatical, which serve as a guide for such a differentiation, research on this topic is extremely relevant and useful. Medialinguistics is becoming an increasingly relevant scientific field that emphasizes the linguistic means in media texts, often undeservedly neglected by specialists.
